The PerfectDry Lux® is an electronic device for the maintenance and storage of hearing aids of all kinds. This maintenance is ensured by the combination of a forced-air ventilation drying system and UV-C radiation disinfection.
Remark:
- The UV-C lamp is a surface disinfectant and has little or no penetrating properties, meaning it cannot damage the earpiece or plastic of the hearing aids.
UV-C disinfection
The PerfectDry Lux® is equipped with a short-radiation UV-C lamp, whose 360° circular arrangement allows it to reach all surfaces of the hearing aids. The exposure of surfaces to the UV-C light enables 99% destruction of fungi and bacteria, and dramatically reduces itching and infections of the ear canal. The lamp turns itself on for the first five minutes of the drying cycle and then automatically switches itself off.
Dehumidification - Drying
The PerfectDry Lux® is equipped with a forced-air fan drying system, which reduces the power and time required for the drying cycle. The temperature of the drying chamber is controlled by an electronic system to maintain a constant temperature of 45°C, regardless of the ambient temperature around the device, and to prevent damage to the hearing aids.
